Most bruises resolve within 10 to 14 days and can be easily covered with makeup. We will provide you with all of the post-care instructions you need to minimize bruising and promote a quick healing process.
Chin augmentation may be performed non-surgically or surgically, depending on the particular patient and their goals.
Some patients may have social or medical factors that make surgery a less desirable option. However, when the patient’s goals are more dramatic or if a patient prefers a permanent “fix,” surgically placing a chin implant is a more desirable option.
When the degree of improvement desired is more subtle, we may use filler injections instead of an implant. Filler injections last approximately one year. There is significantly less downtime and cost associated with this method.

During a chin surgery, your surgeon will place solid silicone implants that are well-contoured to the chin and jawline. These implants can be customized to a variety of sizes and shapes, then further modified intra-operatively as needed.
You can swim after 3 weeks or when your wound is completely healed.
You can start walking immediately.
You can begin exercise and/or lifting after 2 weeks.
