The discontinuation of these medications for 14 days before AND 14 days after for all invasive (surgical) procedures and 14 days prior to injection of fillers or Botox Cosmetic® should be considered in order to reduce bleeding and bruising. Anyone taking prescription ***platelet-inhibitors or anticoagulants such as Warfarin (Coumadin), Lovenox, Plavix, Eliquis, Brilinta or any other prescription blood thinners or anti-inflammatory medications for the management of a medical condition must get permission from your prescribing doctor before stopping those medications as doing so might cause unwanted risks and side effects.
