We recommend waiting approximately 3 months before re-piercing the ears. We can also perform ear piercing at our facility to ensure your results are safe, symmetrical, and accurate!
Taking care of your ears after earlobe repair surgery is simple. You need only keep the incisions clean and apply ointment until sutures are removed, typically in about 5 to 7 days.
In most cases, you do not need a consultation for a simple earlobe repair. However, if large gauge sites are to be repaired, a consultation is required. These are more involved procedures that we occasionally need to perform in an operating room.
