“Baby Botox,” also known as “sprinkle Botox” or “MicroTox,” belongs to the increasingly popular family of treatments that support a proactive, preventive approach to aging.
This “pre-juvenation” method uses the same formula as a typical Botox injection, only varying in:
- Dosage. A standard injection often contains 25 to 30 units of Botox. With baby Botox, we use smaller doses, typically between 10 and 15 units, for more subtle effects.
- Placement. Hyper-localized injection placement treats only part of the targeted muscle to ease unwelcome tension while preserving more natural muscle movement than standard Botox placement.
- Results. Because baby Botox injections use micro-doses of the formula, they can soften mild lines and prevent creasing for 2 to 3 months. Standard Botox injections fully relax the targeted muscle, reducing the appearance of deeper folds and wrinkles for 3 to 4 months at a time.
By strategically placing tiny increments of Botox to promote partial muscle relaxation, we can stop creases before they form, reducing the risk of future folds and lines.
