What is PDGF and how does it work?

PDGF+ (platelet-derived growth factor) is pharmaceutical-grade lab engineered PDGF, and every lot is the same – pure, potent, predictable, sterile, and safe. When applied topically or injected into the scalp PDGF+ works by boosting skin’s natural restorative ability, promoting the growth of new skin cells can lead to a smoother, more even skin texture, and help minimize the appearance of scarring.

Is Pure PDGF+ different from PRP?

Yes. PDGF does not require a blood draw. It is made in a lab and is an exact replica of the PDGF found in all mammals, allowing for a consistent and predictable product. It has up to 300,000x the number of growth factors of other applications. PRP is highly variable and inconsistent.

How soon will I see results?

Most patients notice visible improvement in texture and tone within 4 to 6 weeks of PDGF in Indianapolis. Full results typically develop over several months as collagen rebuilds.

Is there any downtime?

Treatment

No blood draws. Ariessence pure PDGF+ can be used as a post-procedural enhancement when used with treatments including microneedling, RF microneedling, laser skin resurfacing, and peels. Applied topically post-procedure to quicken healing and improve tone and texture.

Ariessence pure PDGF+ can also be delivered into the scalp to promote hair follicles to re-enter the active growth phase.
