Book Your Initial Visit
First, you’ll complete a phone intake with our patient coordinator to develop your patient profile and schedule your in-person consultation. Then you’ll complete online paperwork, which our experts use to build your chart and curate your personalized plan.
In-Person Consultation
Your surgeon will review your medical history, discuss your concerns and expectations, and perform an examination. If your surgery involves implants or rhinoplasty, we’ll utilize Vectra 3D Imaging to help you visualize possible outcomes and select the appropriate technology.
Schedule Your Surgery
We’ll help you schedule your cosmetic surgery in Indianapolis, as well as post-op appointments, during times that work best for your schedule and lifestyle. To ensure you feel confident going into surgery, we provide detailed information and instructions regarding what to expect before, during, and after the procedure.
The Day of Surgery
Upon arrival at the surgery center, you will have the chance to meet the surgery center staff and the anesthesiologist. Your surgeon will answer any lingering questions you have, providing the expert guidance and compassionate support you need to feel confident going into surgery.
Immediately After Surgery
After your surgery is complete, we’ll closely monitor you until your surgeon deems it is safe to release you to your appointed driver and/or caregiver to take you home. Please note that some procedures may require an overnight stay, which we will discuss beforehand as needed.
Aftercare & Recovery
Follow your doctor’s post-surgery care recommendations closely to ensure the quickest and most comfortable recovery possible. We’ll see you for a series of post-op appointments at our office to verify that you are healing correctly and you are on your way to your goal results!

Before Your Appointment

If a consultation is deemed necessary before treatment, you’ll meet with a licensed medical aesthetician in our office. Here, we’ll discuss your concerns and goals, review your medical history, and assess your skin. This allows us to recommend the most suitable treatments and skincare products for your needs before scheduling your first treatment.
Personalized Treatment

Dr. Janet K. Turkle, MD
Dr. Janet Turkle, the founder of our practice, began her clinical career at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where she also completed a residency in general surgery. From there, she finished her training in plastic surgery at Indiana University Medical Center.
Upon graduation, Dr. Turkle earned dual board certification from the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The stringent expectations associated with board certification require ongoing education and testing—a commitment that represents Dr. Turkle’s ability to uphold the highest possible standards in her field.

Dr. Brandon C. Specht, DO
Dr. Brandon Specht, another skilled surgeon at Turkle & Associates, graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, after which he completed training in general surgery at Grandview Medical Center and plastic and reconstructive surgery at Cleveland Clinic.
Like Dr. Turkle, he gained dual board certification. After concluding his education, he began practicing surgery as a civilian and in the U.S. Air Force. Today, he continues to apply this creativity and meticulous attention to each procedure.
