Breast Augmentation: Surgery, Cost, and What to Expect

February 23, 2023

Choosing to undergo breast augmentation is a personal decision—one that often comes after much thought and consideration. For many, it’s about achieving a renewed sense of self-confidence, body harmony, and feeling more at home in their skin. Like any cosmetic procedure, however, it’s also a financial investment.

At Turkle & Associates, we are committed to supporting our patients through every stage of the journey—from your first consultation through recovery and beyond. That includes providing complete transparency about the cost of breast augmentation and what you can expect from the process.

In this blog, we’ll walk you through the different components that contribute to the total cost of your surgery and offer insights into your options and next steps.

What Influences the Cost of Breast Augmentation?

The cost of breast augmentation surgery can vary depending on several key factors, including the type of implant, surgical fees, and post-op care. Below, we break down each of these components so you can plan and budget with clarity.

1. Type of Breast Implant

One of the biggest cost variables in breast augmentation is the type of implant you choose. Different implants vary in price due to the materials used.

At Turkle & Associates, we offer a variety of FDA-approved breast implant options, including:

  • Saline Implants – Typically the most affordable option. These are filled with sterile normal saline and inserted empty, then filled once in place.
  • Silicone Gel Implants – These offer a more natural feel and appearance. They’re pre-filled with silicone gel and tend to cost more than saline.
  • Cohesive Silicone Gel “Gummy Bear” Implants – A version of silicone gel with a slightly firmer consistency for more shape retention.  – These are known for their stability, natural shape, and softness.. They tend to be the most expensive but are also among the most durable.

During your consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to feel each implant type using sample “testers” and discuss which will best help you achieve your cosmetic goals. We are also proud to offer VECTRA® 3D Imaging, an advanced tool that provides patients with a highly personalized and interactive consultation experience. This cutting-edge technology creates a detailed 3D simulation of your body, allowing you to visualize potential results of a breast augmentation, lift, or combination procedure before committing to surgery.

2. Surgery-Related Fees

At Turkle & Associates, our pricing for breast augmentation is all-inclusive, meaning we bundle everything into one comprehensive quote so there are no surprises later on.

Our typical price range for breast augmentation is $5475 – $7500, depending on the type of implant selected. This includes:

  • Surgeon’s fee
  • Facility fee
  • Anesthesia
  • All post-operative appointments
  • Surgical supplies and medications

The only fee not included in this range is your initial consultation, which is $50. This 1-hour session with one of our experienced breast surgeons is a personalized, in-depth opportunity to discuss your concerns, medical history, and desired outcomes.

We believe consultations are essential—not only to determine candidacy but also to ensure our patients feel informed, confident, and supported before moving forward.

3. Financing Options

We understand that the cost of cosmetic surgery can feel overwhelming at first glance, but there are financing options that can make breast augmentation much more accessible. Many of our patients choose to use third-party medical financing or payment plans that allow them to spread the cost over time. While these plans don’t reduce the overall price, they do allow you to make the procedure fit your monthly budget.

Our team is happy to walk you through available options during your consultation and connect you with financing partners if needed.
